Savute Safari Lodge is situated in the Western section of the Chobe National Park along the Savute Channel. Stretching from the Linyanti River all the way to Savute Marsh, the papyrus waterways of this channel have for years pumped life into the western section of the Chobe National Park and is celebrated for its large population of bull elephants.
The lodge consists of eleven thatched chalets built from local timber and one family room which consists of two double bedrooms. Each chalet has its own private deck, a combined bedroom and lounge area, all with en-suite bathrooms.
The main area is a two storey thatched building which has a shaded viewing deck, an el fresco dining area and a swimming pool and deck where one can relax and watch the resident elephant make their way to the Channel.
Activities include game drives, a trip to the Savute Marsh, and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.
